Photographing jewelry is a challenge at best. I've discovered that different earrings need different backgrounds. It had been my hope that I could use the same background for each piece of jewelry on the Earring Gems website (wishful thinking, I know) to have a more uniform look but it is not meant to be. As you can see in the photos there is a difference in backgrounds.
